Suggest Treatment For Late Menstruation And Pain In The Vagina

Hello, I have a 15 month old that I breastfeed at night. I got my period back about 7 months ago and it has been regular. I am currently a week late. I tested when I was 2 days late because I had stabbing pain in my woman parts. It was negative. I tested again today and it is also negative. I am unsure what to do now. I also have had a hot face and head aches the last couple weeks also with dizziness and a burning throught.

Hallow Dear,

For last more than 6 months you were getting menses regularly. Now you have missed your period. If you are sexually active, you have to look for the possibility of pregnancy.

Pregnancy test on urine may give false negative results if performed too early. Yes, 2 days after missing a period is too early for pregnancy test on urine to give reliable result. Now it is a week since you have missed your period. Hence, if you repeat the test again on overnight first morning urine sample, it will give you reliable result.

Alternatively, you may opt for Beta hCG test which is very sensitive and reliable even few days before missing a period.

If you are pregnant, you may choose to terminate the pregnancy by medicines. If you are not pregnant, you may wait expectantly for menses. Alternatively, you may take Tab. Deviry for 5 days; 4-7 days later you should get withdrawal bleeding.
