Suggest Treatment For Knot On Forearm

Hey, I have a knot under my skin on my forearm and its be there for almost a year now and its about the same size as a dime. The skin color hasn t changed and it doesnt hurt. What does that mean? And how can I make it go away without having to go to the doctors?

knot under skin that may be lipoma.
Lipoma may be present without pain.
Surgically can remove lipoma.

Keloid like over growth can remove by surgery.
Sebaceous cyst may rule out.
Melanoma can ruled out.

Incease size ,color change indicate malignant growth.

If it is cystic swelling do ultrasonography for further diagnosis.
If lesion is more than 2 mm than incision biopsy can done.
