Suggest Treatment For Kidney Stones

I have been taking performing for years and while on vacation ended up in the emergency room with renal kidney failure and had a kidney stone. Since that time my sister in law informed me that there are lawsuits against the drug and that it causes kidney issues and in some cases death.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Firstly, there is a need to confirm the diagnosis.
For this, I would like to give you a diagnostic test:
1. Complete Blood Test including calcium and Uric acid
2. Urine analysis
3. Kidney CT

I would like to give some treatments:
1. For Pain, Ibuprofen
2. Amlodipine

Please keep checking your blood pressure. If it is too low or if you feel weak, please do not continue Amlodipine. A doctor can follow you up and can give the next course of treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
