Suggest Treatment For Kidney Stones While On Escitalopram

I had a kidney stone and I don t want to experience the pain again. It seems that a prescribed drug for depression, escitalopram has oxalate in it which is involved with kidney stone occupancy. Will I have a new kidney stone happening if I take a 5 mg tablet of escitalopram daily .? ds

Escitalopram will not contribute to forming calcium oxalate kidney stones. I suggest to follow a low salt diet and drink large quantities of water.
