Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Though
gall bladder surgery can cause slight pain and discomfort in the operated area for sometime even after surgery, your pain seems to be due to stones in the
kidney. It is important to know the number and size of the kidney stones. Any obstruction to the passage of urine by the kidney stones is also to be known. Treatment depends on the number, size and and any obstruction that is happening. Consulting the
urologist with your report once will help in knowing which treatment is most suitable for you. In general, people with kidney stones are asked to drink lots of water and visit wash rooms regularly. Please reduce foods containing oxalates like non veg, vegetables like spinach, tomato, cauliflower, brinjals, nuts like kaju, pista and almonds. Avoid holding urine for long intervals.
For the hernia, you should consult a surgeon and take an opinion on the if the hernia is a small one or a large one. Since you have not mentioned the location and size of hernia opening it is difficult to suggest the exact treatment. Since most
hernias are found in the inguinal region and happen due to carrying heavy weight, it is suggested that you do not do heavy physical activity unless permitted by your doctors.
