Suggest Treatment For Jock Itch

I have am suffering from skin disease that s jokich... From last 5 Months and doc of fortis hospital ask m to apply onabet lotion sertaconazole nitrate lotion 2% w/v... I m applying it but it s causing itching a lot Nd got stretch mark in my almost full body... Is that lotion good to put on my body??

Hello,

Jock itch is a fungal infection caused due to moisture, irritation & fungal overgrowth. Yes, you can continue to apply the lotion you have been prescribed in the area affected.

To prevent jock itch infection you are suggested to thoroughly clean the area affected, dry it before applying the lotion.

You can also take a course of oral antifungals, fluconazole & apply topically ointments like econazole (Ecoza).

For stretch marks, yo should apply stretch marks prevention creams. Mederma stretch mark prevention cream is effective.
