Suggest Treatment For Itchy Scalp

Hi i m 32 yrs male i am suffering from etching on the scalp for the last 3 4 months my doctor has now prescribed me doxy 1 l dr forte and a shampoo seba med. Earlier i have used kz lotion and salicilic acid shampoo. I have etiching in body also and sometimes its very intense

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that itching over the scalp and body can be due to a number of causes like Contact Dermatitis or allwry reaction caused by any skin and hair cosmetic, allergies to any food or medication, extremely dry skin, fungal infection, Psoriasis etc..

Consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can also advise you to get investigations done like Blood tests, microscopic examination of scraping from scalp and skin etc..

Treatment of the underlying cause can resolve the problem..
As of now you can take anti histamines like Benadryl or Levocetrizine to relieve itching..
Use emmolients to lubricate the skin..
You can also be advised Steroid lotions and ointments, Antibiotic ointment, immunosuppressants and anti histamines..
