Hello and welcome to HCM,
Itching on the scalp along with white spots could be due to dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis.
Seborrheic dermatitis is actually an exaggerated form of dandruff.
Dry scalp is the cause of seborrheic dermatitis.
Fungal infection is also considered to be a cause of seborrheic dermatitis.
Treatment consists of anti-fungal ointment and shampoo.
However, before starting any treatment, you need to consult a dermatologist for clinical assessment, diagnosis and thus treatment.

Thanks and take care
