Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes On Scalp, Neck And Shoulders
I started itching of my scalp about a month ago,it spread to my neck and shoulders with a rash My Dr prescribed urbanol. He said it is stress. Nothing seems to help. I feel very uncomfortable and agitated. What is this itchy rash. I even got my hair checked out for lheadlice.

Understanding your concern. As per your query have symptoms of itchy rashes on scalp, neck and shoulders . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like contact dermatitis , skin infection , eczema, allergic reaction and other medical condition. Need not to worry. Avoid touching or pricking rashes. I would suggest you to stop using any cosmetic product, protect your skin from sun exposure , and apply broad spectrum sunscreen when in exposure to sun . Also take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl and apply ice pack over rashes to reduce redness and itching. You should apply olive oil on scalp. Consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically , take history , order skin test for allergy and blood test . Doctor may order corticosteroid ointment , anti allergic medicine , antibiotics and may alter the dose of or prescribe substitute .
