I have a rash on my arm...i have had it for several weeks. On my right arm several weeks ago i got cellulitis.. and at the same time i had this other rash on my left arm... They gave me strong antiobiotics and a steroid shot in my hip.. .the cellulitis cleared up but the rash on my right arm had not cleared up. I also have the rash under my right arm close to my breast/back.. it itches really bad...i have tried severl home remedies and it seems to help..but any stress and it starts itching again....

Hi dear,

What is the colour of rash? Exact location? Any discharge or skin peeling?
It would be easy for me if you can send a picture of the rash.

An itchy rash of few weeks duration is most likely tinea(fungal infection). After confirmation, this can be treated with anti-fungal creams like clotrimazole for 2-3 weeks. Resistant cases will need oral drugs also.

Meanwhile, keep the area clean and dry; take antihistamine like levocetirizine once daily for temporary relief of itching.

Let me know if I can assist you further
Take care
