Suggest Treatment For Itchy Painful Rashes Caused By Bug Repellent Application

Hi,
10 days ago I inadvertently applied bug repellant instead of sunblock to most of my body. Being a typical redhead that doesn't tan by the time I realized this mistake it was too late. I burned quite badly. I started peeling around day 4, my chest and back are now a few shades darker than I normally am, but my arms and legs peeled and then about 2 days ago developed the some red bumps. The bumps have turned into small patches of itchy, painful, blistery rash. The bumps appear red and small, spread, inflame the area around the bumps, then seem to go away. They are hot to the touch and in random patches ONLY where my skin peeled. My physician said it looked like an allergic reaction and told me to try a benedryl. That didn't help. I've tried a vinegar bath, oatmeal bath, aloe, calamine lotion, and cortozone cream.
