Suggest Treatment For Itchy Painful Pimples On The Cheeks
I have painful and itchy pimples on my cheeks that randomly appeared on my skin. Under advise I took Celestamine (1 pill) which mostly cleared the pimples. The following day, I assumed all was well and my the pimples are back, painful but not itchy. Shall I continue with the dose?
Hi !! I have gone through your history and according to me you should not have celestamine for pimples as it is a steroid. It will cause immediate relief temporarily but will later worsen the pimples if continued for long. Instead you should take tablet azithromycin 500 mg on 3 consecutive days weekly and apply nadifloxacin cream on the pimples twice daily. Besides this keep your face as dry as possible, avoid applying any cream or moisturizer, avoid oiling of the scalp and reduce the intake of sugary foods.
