Suggest Treatment For Itching Red Spots On My Arms

I started getting small red spots on my arms and legs a few days ago. At first they weren t itchy but as time went on they have become super itchy. They are also spreading to my sides and to my buttocks. The only other symptom I may have is stomach cramps and diarrhea with mucus in it. Do you know what this could be or if it could be serious?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you are having allergic dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid using any new products like soap or perfume.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
