Suggest Treatment For Itching On Buttocks

Hi, I m 26 year old black lady and early this year I started to have a uncontrollable itch between my buttocks and this normally occurs at night, that is the itch. I have now noticed that the entire area between my buttocks is now completely discoloured and dry. I have tired moisturising creams for the buttocks but it does not help. This is making me feel very uncomfortable because my area between the buttocks is very dark now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Probably you are suffering from fungal infection and bleackening is due to repeated scratching. Blackening is harmless. No need to worry.
Advice
1.     Apply antifungal cream containing clotrimazole, steroid and antibiotic such as Lobate GM cream thrice daily for 15 days
2.     Keep your groin and inter-gluteal fold area clean and dry
3.     You can use ketoconazole dusting powder also
4.     Do not scratch
5.     Take high protein diet such as eggs and cheese to boost immunity
6.     Investigation – blood sugar (fasting & postprandial)
Thanks
