hi I have my mom on the phone she went and had a bone density test tuesday.... there was no injections made. but now has a ichy rash on her arms and legs... could this have came from the test and what do you suggest we do for her. she has allergies to benadryl
The possible diagnosis of the condition based at the symptoms is urticaria. Avoid fermented food and foods containing artificial fragrances as they are known to induce urticaria. It is unlikely that it could have occurred because of the test.Topical antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used. Regards
