Hi Doctor, My Mother has Glaucoma in her right and also undergone a Retinal detachment surgery 9 months back and now she is using Combigan in the same eye for eye pressure control. Issue is she is now getting lot of etching and also we can see a visible redness al around the eye in lower and upper eye lids. We visited a doctor and they said she is allergic to one of the combination in combigan and so prescriber Glucomol instead of that. I am seeking an alternative advice for this. Can using Glocomol a good substitute? Can this new drop can effectively control ocular pressure? As the doctor said the redness is due to Combigan, can Combigan really lead to such side effects?
