Suggest Treatment For Irregular Mensturation

I had unprotected sex on September 29, 2 days after my period. I immediately took 4 NORDETTE pills and another 4 after 12 hours. I still continue using it, 1 pill a day at the exact same time. I had unprotected sex again just yesterday October 4 but I still use one pill a day. I have irregular menstruation. Once every two months. Will I get pregnant? How soon can I take a Pregnancy test?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Usually having sex within 7 days after the menstrual cycle, there is no chance of pregnancy.

But if you don't want pregnancy now, then along with oral pills, use condoms regularly.

Still, to confirm, you can do a urine pregnancy test within 7 days of the missed period.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
