General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

This is a common problem among young women of your age. This is commonly due to a condition called Polycystic ovary.

Please confirm the Polycystic ovary by getting an ultrasound scan. Any gynecologist will be able to help you.

Another common problem is overweight. If you are overweight your periods are irregular. Let me know your weight and height. Based on your weight and height I can suggest if weight is the reason for irregular cycles and solutions for the same.

Please let me know the scan report and your weight so that I can give you accurate advice regarding pills or treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
