Welcome at HCM
i have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns...
What Is your age? Do u have diabetes? Had u suffered from tb before?
All u need is to stay calm.... A stitch in time saves nine , so its better to start treatment.. Length of treatment varies from six months to a year your doctor will decide about it.
As far as side effects are concerned yes these drugs do cause derangement in liver function along with change of colour of body secretions and joint pains and visual disturbances.. But u need not to worry , it will settle...
Sometimes doctor stop one drug due to side effects and replace it with other one. You need continuous monitoring of your liver function and kidney function during treatment.
Hope your query is adequately addressed
