Suggest Treatment For Internal Bleeding Due To Trauma
I was chewing a plastic bottle cap and I ripped off a small piece of it (about one centimeter) I then accidentally swallowed it.my breathing is fine but I don t know if this will cause any internal bleeding of some sort if if this is of any harm to me?
Thanks for consulting the Physicians at HealthCare Magic. I have worked through your case thoroughly, and I can easily realize your health worries. Being your physician, I reassure you not to worry as things will settle down very soon. No it can't possibly cause any internal bleed. It's a small piece and will pass on with stools. It may cause some kind of irritation or some bleeding that will be minute enough and will go unnoticed. BUT CAUTION: is that if you see black or blood tinged stools, or you feel fever, then you should go to the physician to work up. But it will not be needed I think.
May you get very well soon and have a wonderful time ahead. Please don't forget to give your valuable starred feedback to help me assist you in a better way. Go to my profile to write a Review regarding your experience with me here at my Virtual clinic.
