Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Fever And Severe Cough In Child
my son had fever since last thursday, and we took him to doctor. He also had very bad cough. Doctor said he had upper respiratory infection. He prescribed medicine ; Chlo w/Hydro8 10 mg/5ml S and told to give tylenol 500 mg 2 tablets every 6 hours. His fever is coming and going. He is feeling better compare to last Friday, but he is having very bad headache in backside of head and now cough has blood coming out with mucus. So, I do not know what to do?
rest of thing isalright, but may need a change of antibiotic. can be given oral pencilin like penciline v. mantain hydration. can give some cough syrup like coscopin. child can take vit cchewable tablet daily for ten days. temperature should be recorded 6hourly. crocin syrup to be continued to controll temperature. with this medication the child will mimprove. nothing to worry blood with sputum in rti is any source in respiratorytract.
