Two days ago I had a small are of my nose(right outside my nostril) cauterized electronically (I believe) and the area is forming a scab but around the scab there is redness. Is this just part of the inflammation and healing process and is there anything i can put on the redness or does it just get better with time. My dcotor who is on vacation recommened aquafor but i am just curious what the redness around the forming scab is and if it is just part of the process and whether it will also scab.
