Suggest Treatment For Infection After Tattooing

Hello. I had gotten some of my tattoo worked on a couple weeks ago. It scabbed pretty badly and now it is almost healed except an area where there is a bump and I have squeezed pus out and some clear fluid. I assume this is an infection. How can I take care of this?

Hi,

You said you had undergone tattooing few weeks ago. Now you have developed infected lesion on some part of the tattoo . It may be impetiginous lesion due to secondary bacterial infection. There may be pus discharge after squeezing the lesion. Infection might occured during tattooing. Antiseptic precaution might not be taken by tattoo maker.

You may consult dermatologist to have firm diagnosis and perfect treatment. Antibiotic like cefixime may be taken for one to two weeks along with anti inflammatory drugs like aceclofenac with paracetamol. Antibiotic cream like gentamycine may be applied. You may get complete healing after proper treatment. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks..
