Suggest Treatment For Infected Wound When Suffering From Hypertension

I am Sanjay from Bangalore, India My mother is a hypertensive patient and right now she is under treatment for nursing a wound (its in calf area) and the doctor has said the wound has been infected the vein and hence with medication it wont be cured and she has to undergo a surgery. My apprehension is - she is taking the below medicines for hypertension, seizures, gastric problem and depression. The medicines are a) Stamlo -5, b) Somraz D, c) Clopilet 75, d) Levipill 500mg in morning and 750 mg at night e) Betaloc 25, and Frisium - 10mg If she has to undergo a surgery and while adminster anesthesia will she have any ill-effects. I am very much worried, please advise

Thank you for your question! I understand your concern; I don't know what kind of anesthesia is going to perform the doctor (general or local) and is any risk for hemorrhage from the operation; but in general I would recommend to stop Clopilet at least 5 days before surgery; the benzodiazepine (Frisium) the day before operation; and to consult with the anesthetist; in order to ascertain her hemodynamic status before operation.
