Suggest Treatment For Infected Wound On Elbow After Surgery With Implants
i got shot back in november with a 12 gauge and they put a plate and a couple rods in my elbow. the wound gets better but then it gets swollen and i squeezed a lot of puss out thinking it would help. it got infected 2 or 3 times ever since surgery and they gave me antibiotics but it seems to work temporarily. im holding a lot of pressure on the wound with gauze and a wrap. should i apply something onto the wound? i have no health insurance and the situation im in is very complicated.
yes continue with daily dressing. dressing material should be properly sterilised. do dressing with betadine solution till pus and debris reduces. use debridase ointment for better healing. improve your diet. have multivitamins support.apply betadine dressings on wound. this will improve your wound. get pus culture sensitivity and start antibiotics accordingly
