hi, i am looking for a infectious disease doctor in gujarat for the treatment of my son who has mdr t.b. and was treated in cmc, vellore. we stay in baroda,gujarat, india. his weight is 44kgs and his height is 5ft 9inches. he is 22yrs and has a ileostomy. he was diagunesd to have mdr t.b. of interstine
Dear due to intestinal tuberculosis he might have developed few complications so he undergone surgery. ileostomy treatment may depends on stage of tuberculosis and complications. if it is temporary ileostomy may Need to repeat surgery. but in case permanent ilestomy need education about pouch used external and how frequently you pass stools and what food your eating etc.. may need to avoid heavy lifting,skin infection and life partner education. please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
