Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism

Hi,
I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid, my T3T4 and TSH were not within the normal limits. I was put on Eltroxin 2.5mcgs on alternate days in November 2013. I got blood tests done last week and today my GP told me I'm still hypothyroid. He upped my medications to 2.5mcgs Monday to Friday only. How will I know if this is working. I feel very tired and could sleep forever and my hair is fine fine/coarse.... Please advise.

25 mcg is a miniscule dose and that also on alternate days. Oh my god. Your GP doesn't know to diagnose hypothyroidism and management of the same. Kindly consider consulting another doctor with all your results.
