My mother has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism many years back She was currently taking 50 mcg levothyroxine sodium for over 6 months. Currently she tested her thyroid and TSH - 37.5 both FT3 (0.86) and FT4 (1.9) are low. How much should she increase her dosage?
Amount of levothyroxine required varys from one person to another. Its usually found by trial method. Better stick to an endocrinologist doctor for correct treatment
