Suggest Treatment For Hornet Sting

Got stung by a hornet on the left hand about an hour ago. It is swelling and red. I am generally allergic and the last time I was given a steriod inj that helped but didn t cause as much problem with hyperactivity and insomnia as the prednisone that I have available. Went to a local clinic and didn t see my PCP so I don t know what it was, but was wondering if it was depo medrol. What is usually given in this context?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that the sting of hornet gets alright on its own and rarely needs any treatment and the toxicity of this is depends upon the species of hornet, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
