Suggest Treatment For Hives On The Hip, Stomach And Lip
A few weeks ago a began breaking out in hives on my hip, side, stomach and my lip. I originally thought I was being bite so I have both inside and outside of the house sprayed by a Pest Control Co. However, I continued to break out. I have been taking pain Meds along with Cymbalta and Gabepenta for sever back pain. On June 16th I was admitted in the Hospital for back surgery and while in the hospital I had no additional hives. Now that I m back home the hives have started again and yesterday my right I was swollen shut. I ve noticed when the hives go away I have black marks left where the hives were. Was is causing this condition? I ve never experienced this before.

Hello,
The symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.
I recommend using antihistamines such as Desloratadine 10 mg daily.
I also suggest using Calamine lotion for local application.
Cool showers can also be helpful in relieving the symptoms.
