Suggest Treatment For Hives , Cough And Congestion

Hello I ve had hives for a month now went to doctor two weeks ago and he gave me a pred pack which I took and told me to take Benadryl for itch the hives went down a little but never went away. Iam now sick/ cough congestion but no fever. Thought the hives were from an e-cig I was using but haven t used in two weeks. Is hives this long normal

No, hives for this long duration is not normal.
We need to investigate properly about this.
Along with hives you are also having cough and congestion.
So possibility of lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) with pneumococcal or streptococcal infection is high. Because both of these bacterias can cause hives with cough and congestion.
So better to get done chest x ray to rule out LRTI.
You may need antibiotics, antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs.
