Suggest Treatment For High Cholesterol Levels

My liver blood test showed it a little high. I recently had changed my medication for cholesterol from Creston to the cheap liptor medicine that starts with an A. My doctor has asked me to stop taking the new medication and will run a new blood test in three months. Should I be worried.

Hello
Initially you were taking creston , that was expensive , so advised a cheap substitute liptor .
Your doctor advised afresh tests and there after start new treatment ( drug ).
Since you didn't mention the duration for which you have taken creston .
Yes , your doctor is right , you should get in blood for LIPID PROFILE as this will rule out hyperchloestrolaemia .
If cholesterol level comes elevated start medicine ,if within normal limit , why unnecessary medicine.
In my opinion crestone has lowered the high cholesterol level.
Good luck.
