My father is diabetes patient and he has problem of cholesterol and tryglycerides both of these almost remain high doctor prescribes rovista and like these medicine for one month but after few again level of cholesterol and tryglycerides become high please prescribe any good medicine regard this issue....khizar hayat

Hi welcome to HCM.
Its extremely important the blood lipids like cholesterol to be in normal range to avoid cardiac diseases.

Drugs like statins and fibrates are needed to reduce the cholesterol and triglyceride content.

Regular physical exercise for 20 min a day for 5 days in a week is needed.Maintain your BMI around 22.

Intake of calories should be less than 2000 kcal/day.

Oatmeal for breakfast offer rapid correction of the fat values.

Consult your cardiologist for further help.
