Suggest Treatment For High Blood Sugar Levels

Dear Sir



i am diabatic since March 2012. i checked last month HBA1C. it was 13%. i am taking medicine galvusmet 50/100mg and Diamicron MR 60MG twice daily. (After breakfast and after dinner). My blood sugar is not control doctor is advising to take insulin. please advise

Hi thanks for contacting HCM team
Your HbA1C is high which indicates your blood sugar is not in control. It must be in range below 7% . and you are taking Oral medications. If you are non alcoholic with good diet control then you follow your doctor's advice that you must go on Insulin. Next time please mention your Weight & height to calculate BMI. and Serum cholestrol and Kidney Funtion test ( Blood Urea / Serum Creatinin)
