Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure

I m 46yrs old my blood pressure is 115/77 and my pulse is 84. Is my pulse rate normal since I was recently diagnosed 3 months ago with high blood pressure and take amlodipine? All of my lab work came back normal according to my PCP. I walk at least 7miles 3 to 4 days out of the week....is that enough exercise? My kids suggest I should begin some cardio exercise.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with high blood pressure with a blood pressure of 115/77 and pulse of 84 (yes this is normal ) I am suggesting a possibility of developing a hypertensive disease
In view of this please do the following test
Chest x-ray
ECG
Serum electrolytes
Meanwhile you can continue your exercise and seek advice from a cardiologist specialist regarding your cardio exercise
I hope this helps Regards
