Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure And Chest Pain

Yes, thank you. I experienced a chest pain about a hour ago. It felt lIke a drawstring was being tightened, in the area between my breasts , slightly lower. My blood pressure after about five minutes was 136/96. Currently , my BP IS 128/84. I feel fine now. Any thoughts?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have high blood pressure and chest pain . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are probably due to two condition :-

- First it is due to cardic problem like angina .

- Secondly it can be due to gastric problem like acid reflux .

I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for more serious problem without any delay . Doctor may order ECG , TMT , troponin t test and complete blood profile . Doctor may prescribe sedative , diuretics isosorbid nitrate , betablockers and sometimes doctor may recommend angiography . For now don not exert your body and stay calm .
