Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure And A-Fib

I am a 54 year old male, 6 1 tall and 265 lbs. I have A-fib and high blood pressure. I recently was found to be anemic so an endoscopopy was done. Long story, short, a bleed was found at the bottom of my esphogus which was dealt with and I was prescribed to double my dose of omeprozole for reflux. My problem is since the procedure and re starting all my meds, my pressure has been spiking above 150 sys. and above 90 dias. Besides the omeprozole I also take the following meds: Tikosyn 500MCG Capsule twice daily Hydralazine 50 MG Tablet twice daily Valsartan 160MG Tablet once daily Warfarin 5 MG Tablet daily Metoprolol 50 MG Tablet Twice daily Nifedipine 30 MG Tablet every other day Could the omeprozole be causing my other meds to not be properly digested causing this spike?

Hi,

It's unlikely to be due to omeprazole, however, you may need to consult your doctor for controlling your blood pressure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
