Suggest Treatment For High BP

I have been to see several doctors, I have had pulmonary test done and everything comes back negative. My heart is in great shape, in fact the heart specialist said it was beautiful, most of the men she see at my age have high blood pressure do to smoking, drinking or high cholesterol. I have none of these issues, however I have high blood pressure or Hypertension. I do not have problem breathing all the time however it seems to connected to my sodium intake. If I do not eat any pre-prepared foods or anything from fast food I do not have too much difficulty if I prepare the food myself. My weight has been the same for eight years at 260 lb. Height 5, 11. I try to exercise when I can, I am on the go all the time, lifting and pulling pallets that weigh about 1200 lbs. each. Can you make any suggestions?

First of all, what is your age and what is your b.p?
Do you measure it regularly?
Do you get proper sleep?

Is your kidney profile within the normal limit?
If your b.p is >160/100 mm of hg, then prompt treatment is required.
If its less than that and there are no other risk factors, lifestyle and diet modifications are preferred to medications.
Your physician ll check your b.p for 3 consecutive months with all these measures, and if the average b.p is more than the normal upper limit for your age, then you need to have anti hypertensive medications.

Try to avoid fast food as far as possible, use a low sodium containing salt in your diet.
I m sure 30 mins of brisk walking for 5-6 days a week with some moderate physical activity ll help you to sort out your problem.
Take care!
