Suggest Treatment For High ALT Level With The Habit Of Drinking Alcohol

Hi Doctor. I am 37 years old, 170 cm, 72 kgs with no diabetes, heart problems or anything else. I drink frequently and previously heavily.
My Liver profile results came as follows:
ALT/SGPT 41 H (U/L) and GGT 61 H (U/L).

Should I be very worried or will reducing alcohol intake and regular exercise be sufficient?

Hi
You need to stop drinking any alcohol since any more can further damage your liver. You also need a screen for hepatitis and a liver ultrasound.

If this is just from the alcohol your liver has the ability to repair itself in time
