Suggest Treatment For Hematuria

Hi, I recently had a urinalysis done and the results came back stating RBC is 11-25 microscopic and there was bacteria found as well. I don t have many symptoms except for nocturia which has subsided some. I was originally prescribed amoxicillan but after completing the hematuria was still present.

Hello

Hematuria(blood in urine) may be due to many reasons like UTI(urinary tract infection),genitourinary calculus, tumour etc.
You need clinical correlation and investigations like routine hemogram, random blood sugar, renal function test, urine RE/ME,ultrasound of abdomen.
Ultrasound of KUB region can exclude many possibilities.
You may also need culture of urine.CT scan of abdomen can be done if needed.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.

Get well soon.
Take care
