Suggest Treatment For Heavy Breathing After Lung Removal Due To Cancer

I had lung cancer 2 years ago and did chemo with radiation. Then they took out my left lung. I have been doing pretty well. It s just an adjustment in life style etc. But I was hospitalized last week and had tons of test done. My pulse was 136 and I was having a hard time breathing. All they were able to tell me is the radiation most likely harden the artery to my heart and that my heart is tilted some. Is this something I should be worried about? They did start me on medication that has slowed my heart rate to 106

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms that you are facing are probably due to side effects of radiotherapy. The treatment given to you is relieving the side effects so the medication needs to be continued. Further also, medication needs to be continued for any new symptom under guidance of the radiation oncologist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
