Suggest Treatment For Heartburn And Sharp Chest Pain

I had a black stool today. After a night of drinking alcohol heavily, I woke up this morning and drank a soda. Well the first drink of soda I took went down the wrong way I don t know. I got a very sharp pain in chest and felt like I was going to die. So I feel like I m hqving heartburn and I had a black stool so I m very worried and in pain. What do these symptoms mean?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The history of alcohol, then soda in the morning, with severe heartburn and black stool is indicative that you have gastritis or ulcer that is bleeding and also have esophagitis that caused the severe heartburn.
I would advise you the following:
Get an EKG just to be sure about.
Antacid gel every three hours
PPI like Omeprazole
Cold liquids like water, milk, ice-cream.
Get to ER for further evaluation and investigations like upper GI endoscopy, blood, stool tests and proper medications
