Suggest Treatment For Heart Palpitations

I went to the doctor yesterday for a heart checkup and said my heart sounded normal my pressure and my EKG exam showed that my heart is alright but once or two times a day my heart is normal than it gives a thump one or two times then goes back to normal is that a normal?

Hi, yes, it is normal and there is no need for such treatment palpitations.

All the people have a few irregular heartbeat throughout the day. It is normal to have up to 3% of all our beats can be isolated supraventricular extrasystoles, without this being pathological. During the 24 hours of the day, the heart beats about 115,000 times, so have up to about 3500 irregular beats a day is considered normal. Some people feel part of these irregular heartbeat such as palpitations, while most of these irregular heartbeat go unnoticed.

To answer any questions and confirm whether these palpitations are benign, I suggest you look for a cardiologist and discuss the possibility of making a 24-hour Holter and exercise testing.
