Suggest Treatment For Headaches

I slammed the garage door shut so cat didn t go out in the dark. I wound up having my face between the door and hurt my left eye socket by the brow. Wondering if everything would be ok. I have a slight head ache and brow still hurts. Happened 45 min ago. I put ice cube in cloth, but it made it hurt worse.

Hello,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having.

It seems that you have a soft tissue injury. If the icing is hurting you, you can heat the area with a hot water bag. Be careful not to injure your eye. Also, you can take tablet Ibuprofen 400 mg to help with the pain. If there is no reduction in pain after 6 hours, go to the ER. All the best.

Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further.
