Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Severe Pain On The Temple

my dad is 71 and has had minor strokes. he gets a lot of headaches, but is complaining this evening about excruciating pain on the left temple and cheek area. he claims he doesn t want to go to the e.r., but we re a little nervous. The medications he is currently on are as follows: glipizide 5mg, levothyroxine 25mcg, Lisinopril 20 mg and 1 aspirin 325 mg. They are visiting me in Buffalo from Atlanta. They only have Medicare with no supplement, so I m afraid that is the reason he doesn t want me to take him to the hospital. He also has type 2 diabetes.
