If you have these headaches without any skin changes then very likely it is a muscular pain. You will need to take some paracetamol 500 mg 1 every 6 hours and ibuprofen 400 mg 1-2 every 6 hours to help with pain and should be after food. You can use local warm compresses as well to help the muscle relax and pain get better.
If you have any skin changes like redness or lumps in the tender area you will need to see a doctor and also if no improvement with the above treatment or any worsening.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
