I am 23 years old and extremely active. I went to the doctor six days ago because I have had alot of pain starting at the top of my head to the end of my toes. I have had terrible head aches which makes it difficult to turn my head from side to side and up and down, the pain shoots down from my neck, back, to my knee caps and the back side of my knees. The doctor drew blood and said everything was normal, although my white blood cell count was elevated. So he prescribed an antibiotic for five days. Now my throat is extremely swollen and the pain in my neck and back is almost unbearable. What could be wrong with me and what should I do?
