Suggest Treatment For Headache & Nausea With A History Of Migraines

I ve had a headache now for 3 days with nausea. I have suffered from migraines in the past as well as sinus infections. I have no fever just an awful headache that excedrine migraine takes the edge off of. Should I be concerned. I also started new anxiety meds in the last two days. It s a pain on my eyebrows!

Hello,

For acute migraine headaches, you can take sumatriptan or rizatriptan tablets. If the headache frequency increases, you can start preventive medicines such as topiramate or Divalproex to reduce the severity and frequency of headaches.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist
