Suggest Treatment For Headache And Nose Bleeding After Head Injury

my friend fell down from terrace got head injured and admitted to hospital. there was blood clot and it was removed after few days by operation. But now also sometimes her nose bleeds. its been 3 months she got operated and sometime she suffer from severe headache. is this any serious problem. what can be done to treat her ?

Hi. From what you tell me, my understanding is that your friend sustained an intracranial bleed that required neurosurgical intervention. If this is the case then it was a serious life-threatening injury indeed. I would imagine that she is under ongoing follow-up by the neurosurgeons if this is the case. If they experience any new or sudden changes in their symptoms then they should seek emergency medical help in the Emergency Department. If these symptoms are an ongoing problem since the initial injury and surgery, then they should discuss them with their neurosurgeon. I would imagine that they have been performing follow-up CT scans to ensure that the symptoms are nothing to be overly concerned with. It would be interesting to know what pain-relief regimes your friend has tried, and maybe this can be discussed with their family doctor or GP.
