Suggest Treatment For Headache And Dizziness

I have headaches throughout the day on the left side of my head. In the evening it progresses to ice pick headaches staying in one particular point at every event without any vision or nerve-related single-sided bodily anomalies. Occasionally these headaches are so intense that I stumble while standing. I had a series of this headaches while driving and the suddenly subsided to a typical throbbing headache while leaving me exhausted, nauseous, and dizzy. Do I need to see a doctor? I ve read that it is rare that this could mean a blood clot or aneurysm, but I ve had a history of brain trauma as a child.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache , dizziness and fatigue . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like migraine , sinusitis or condition related to ear like meniere's disease . I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , or MRI to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug along with drugs like vasograin and antidepressants . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist for ear problem , who may order hearing test , rotatory chain test and examination with otoscope and treat it accordingly . For now avoid bending forward , do relaxing exercises like meditation and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
